So everybody is always complaining or hesitant to persue somebody because they come to find that they have different interests than them. Yes of course its good to find similarities to get things going but you should want to find someone different from you.. THATS HOW A REAL RELATIONSHIP GROWS. Thats how you learn from eachother. Thats how you learn to appreciate differences in someone. Its how you come to respect someone for being there own person. Its how youre able to tell the person on the other end is genuine and theyre not just telling you what you want to hear. Its how you learn to compliment eachother and not mirror eachother.

All to often I hear someone romantically involved, hesitate and say “well i like them but I dont know if i should go any further because we’re such different people”….. NO! That is WHEN you continue to pursue! That is WHEN you continue to learn and discover!

Not predicting how someone is going to be and grow with you and the complete beauty of a relationship. Its not about finding your partner who is EXACTLY like you, its about finding your yin to your yang, thats how a relationship.. a GOOD relationship finds balance and stays fresh and healthy in the long run. Thats how you learn to respect someone elses differences.

People, as my final word – please, please, please.. dont shy away from someone because they are different than you. It could be your greatest relationship ever. Its a GOOD thing to find a partner who is different than you. Youre already you, why would you want to date yourself. Go out there and find someone different. Youll be AMAZED at how much you can grow with someone and how fresh life will be. The heart doesnt feel similarities, it feels energy, and if even a hint of that positive energy is there that we call “having feelings” or love, no matter if the person is different or not then go for it!
