18M, pretty socially anxious but trying to hint to someone that I like them:

I don’t have much experience with flirting, I’ve been in a few relationships but none were very serious. Plus I worry a lot about if I say something will it come across as weird.

I’ve been trying to let this friend of mine know that I like her, via texting due to COVID and we don’t go to the same school. What are some ways you can hint to someone that you like them, without being weird or risking your friendship? Is it all contextual?
