I'm 24 years old and I've never had a girlfriend and still live with my parents. I do have a decent job and plan to have my own place by the end of the year. I'm 99% sure it isn't my looks. I'm pretty tall, I workout regularly, and I'm not ugly. I don't even think I'm that shy, but I do have a hard time opening up to people. Also I'm pretty introverted and nerdy. Most of my life I never even had close friends, just people I was friendly with. I think all together I have 3 close friends, 2 of which I don't see very regularly and are in committed relationships, so we dont do much together. Even my brother who's my age doesn't really hang out with me. We're pretty different people, but it's always seemed strange to me that we never did anything together. Admittedly I was always pretty depressed in high school and probably wouldn't want to do much anyways, but it still hurt not even getting invited. I also probably spend too much time on video games during the weekends. Even when getting out of the house I usually do solo activities like working out, hiking, solo dining, and drawing outdoors. I just dont know how to branch out and meet people. Honestly I feel like I need to see a psychiatrist.
