Getting into a relationship is not going to ‘fix’ you.
I’m 24M and while I haven’t had problems attracting girls once I got fit at 17, I never got into an official relationship because of a fear of commitment.
Until now. I met a sweet and good looking girl on Bumble and we’ve been dating for about 5 weeks. We hit it off and have been texting every day, all day since we matched. We went on a weekend trip and are planning another one. She also took my virginity but she doesn’t know I was one.
Guys let me tell you, the image you built up of a relationship being the one thing that’s missing in your life, it’s just not true. It’s not some sort of magical feeling. You’re just with another person, with their own good and bad traits. It can be draining. It can be suffocating. Sex is nice but you don’t go to seventh heaven either, it’s really not going to change your reality or change you as a person.
Please believe me, work on yourself and good things will come to you. A relationship should not be the end goal because it does not equal happiness.
