Hey, so I’ve never really dated much, having only had one girlfriend in a long term relationship. That’s all over and I’m single now, but I’m not sure about how to approach the following situation, I’ll try keep it as brief as possible (it’s not a rebound feeling btw):
I was out shopping in one of the local supermarkets with my mum, who is a college lecturer. While shopping, she met one of her ex students working there (only a year or so younger than me), and a conversation sprung up. The ex-student seemed quite keen when talking with me, but was called off by a manager and that was that. A few weeks later (a few days ago)we bumped into her again, this time me and her talked a bit longer, we seem to have a fair bit in common and had a bit of a laugh before the end of her shift.
She’s pretty much my type, we share quite a few interests and she seems like a genuinely nice person I’d love to know. Problem is 1. What can I actually do considering things are still on lockdown and 2. I really really don’t want to creep her out incase I’ve misread the whole situation. I’ve been made to feel unsafe/weirded out at my own work before and I don’t want to do that with her.
Anyone with more experience than me got any advice they can share?
