I lost the woman I loved more than life itself last year. The anniversary was extremely difficult to deal with and I don't know how I'm still here. I like to think she would be telling me to stop being a self-loathing asshole and keep pushing forward in life as I'm still young. I'm 24 and I met her a little after I turned 20. We're both the same age. We were together for 3 years. It's been hard without her.
The reason why I'm making this post is because I can't figure out if I'm ready to go out dating again. It's been 4 fucking years and I don't have a clue how to even date or where to even begin. Sometimes I feel ready, but then I start feeling guilty because of it, so it just leaves me in a state of limbo. Hell, I'm starting to make peace with the thought of being alone the rest of my life.
I just can't figure out what to do and figured this sub could at least help a little bit.
