Context: we’re both in school and she was considering dropping out, going to work and becoming the legal caregiver for her younger sister because of family issues. I’ve only been dating her a few months but I feel a really strong connection and that she might be the one, I would never try to come between her and her family, but I can’t help but think long-term, when I’m finished school and looking to get a place to together, her sister will still be in high school and therefore still around for the most part. It’s making me waver for the first time ever in my relationship but I’m not sure if that’s fair to her. I love her and nothing she’s done or shown has made me think she’s anything but perfect for me, but her sister is a lot mentally and I’m not sure I could do a relationship at this point in my life essentially caring for a child with her. Thoughts or advice? I’m afraid to just bring this up with her because it’d be unfair of me to try and sway her thoughts on what’s best for her because of my selfishness.
