I went on a first date with someone from tinder last weekend. He was a nice guy and good to talk to, but absolutely NONE of his pictures online looked like him. I guess he’s a fashion photographer so know how to make a picture look good and I should have expected that but it’s just annoying!! It was especially true that he put up photos that made him look significantly taller than he was.
He wasn’t even unattractive, and if he’d put up more honest photos I wouldn’t have been disappointed, but since he made himself look like a 6’ movie star in all of them I sort of was.
Anyone else get really annoyed by this? What do people think is going to happen? If the goal is to meet in person one can assume you’re going to be seen as your real life self.
