And like those “he didn’t want you” kind of tips are so unhelpful. It’s like they did, and this isn’t just some crush we had first that rejected us. We started liking them when they pursued us first and showed genuine interest in getting to know us. Then we got interested in getting to know them and just naturally gelled. Also in my case, this person wanted a serious relationship even more than I did. I wanted to casual date, and I liked this person, but over the course of time I was open to a relationship developing but also down to have a short term relationship and stay friends afterwards, depending on how compatible we seemed long run. But sometimes for various reasons you guys still don’t end up dating. I was left with feelings, and perhaps it’s that “unfinished business” and the chemistry feels like a drug, even if he probably was no longer romantically interested (we did stay platonic for some time though, and he had regard for me as a person). And the crazy thing is months later I still imagine the things we talked about (dates and intimate stuff like cuddling) and yearn for him, yet it seems rather easy for him to have moved on-I found his profile back on the dating app we met on as we speak. How many of you guys have feelings for a person you once were MUTUALLY interested in and felt a chemistry with?
