Are there ways for me (m/22) to keep in touch with a girl (f/~20) I barely know without being weird?

i'm a graduating college senior (m/22) who was, like everyone else, sent home from campus due to the coronavirus outbreak. Before the world shut down I had been planning on asking out a sophomore girl who I knew a little bit, we had a class together and were friendly with one another but were by no means close. we're also in some of the same clubs, etc. I messaged her on instagram just to chat about a month ago, but haven't reached out or kept in touch since. now that it's the end of the semester would it be weird or creepy for me to DM her again, and say something along the lines of "It was great getting to know you a little, let's keep in touch"? then depending on how she responds maybe ask for her number? would this be weird or creepy? I don't want to do absolutely nothing and completely let this go, but also don't want to go over-the-top or needy by trying to keep in touch. and we live very far apart so wouldn't be able to meet in person, but i will probably be back on campus a few times here and there. any feedback appreciated!
