So I’ve been going on dates with this guy the last two weeks and he would always say how much he liked me and was nervous. He texted me two days ago asking what we were and I told him I didn’t do casual and he was fine with that, and we were on the same page. He really opened up about past stuff making him hesitant about starting something new with someone and I was trying to reaffirm him that I wasn’t looking for a relationship at the moment but just that we both saw one at some time in the future and he agreed.
Now today, I could tell he was being distant and I asked him if everything was okay. He told me he does like me but doesn’t wanna do further because he “doesn’t want to try things again with anyone I guess”.
I feel like this is a total 180 from our conversation earlier. I can’t tell if he actually has stuff to work through or is just not interested anymore and letting me down easily.
