At what age did you find dating the easiest?

Hi everyone,

24/M here. First official post on here, but I was thinking to myself the other day and grew curious. At what age did you guys find dating the easiest? This could be in terms of your own maturity, improved looks, or otherwise.

The reason I'm curious is that I recently ended a four year relationship that went very poorly, and things seem very different now. Before this most recent relationship, I had a few short term relationships while in community college, that didn't work out due to compatibility issues. I then started the most recent one, transferred and completed my bachelor's degree, and then right after, my ex and I split. This put me in a weird situation because now I work full time in a male-dominated field and have very few opportunities to interact with women. The weirdest thing is that I've actually had an easier time meeting and getting to know women than I used to. I can't seem to figure it out.

My looks are about the same, but I used to exercise a lot more and even though I'm super active at work, I'm definitely not as fit as I used to be. I was 6' 4" and 185 lbs before now I'm about 175 and not near as toned. I don't figure that I'm exceptionally attractive, though I really have no idea where I stand. The only thing that's really changed is I've graduated from college and I'm a little more reserved now. (Ex gf was super jealous, so rather than make friends with girls, I kind of just pretended they didn't exist) I should also mention that the women I've talked to and gone on dates with since the breakup were girls that I either knew from before or just local girls that I've met. I haven't used any dating sites and didn't have many female friends after transferring colleges.

So, what the hell gives? Is this just a girls becoming more mature, thing or what? Is it time that everyone my age that's single is feeling the pressure? I'm real confused.

Thanks
