So recently, I met a girl that I had somewhat of a relationship last year. Nothing special, we were more like friends with benefits type thing. We sat down to have a coffee and catch up. She told me that she has a boyfriend now, that she had moved out with. But since we never really split on bad terms we just stopped talking… she would really like to keep in touch as a friend. I said ok, but I think it was clear for both of us that we won’t have the same relationship as before. The way I saw it was the occasional HBD wish and a comment on a random story once in a while you know…just to not be awkward between us anymore. Few weeks went by, I havent texted her, she didn’t as well and just about a couple of days ago she started reacting to my stories, started sending memes, and I was like fuck it Im a meme lord, there you go…and started sending her memes too. However I just found myself in a situation where she is texting me while she is at a kids party and bored, to keep her company obviously…and I’m like wtf?!?!? Didn’t you had a boyfriend? Ofcourse I didn’t said that but still…odd. I’m hardly coming off as the good guy who will keep you company by the day while another guy is going balls deep at night. And what’s more odd is that I never took that girl to be like that. Might be completely wrong tho. What do you think? What should I do? 🤔🤔
