I asked this girl out back in March and she said yes but then the pandemic hit,we kept in touch until the end of lockdown,fast forward 3 months i call to ask if she wanna go on a date if the movement restrictions get lifted (the government wasn’t sure) and she accepted again,although told me that she found a new job and it might be tricky,thus to call her at a later time to agree on a day (since i live in another region).

I texted her on monday evening proposing to meet up thursday,i then got a text from her at 4 am telling me that she’s really sorry she can’t cause she’s working (she’s a bartender and 4am is the closing time,at least that’s what i’ve been told),in the morning i asked when she’d be free and she told me she doesn’t have the schedule yet to know next week off day but that she’ll have it by the week,i just said cool and to let me know,to which she replied with a big heart emoji.

Am i being unreasonably distrustful or am i about to be hit with the “i’ll let you know+ghosting” combo?
