Yesterday, a girl [27F] and I [32M] were chatting quite a bit (considering the text-based nature of the platform) via messages on the dating website Match.

Some childish details: She liked me on April 22. I liked her on May 3. Sent her a message. She read it at 7:03pm. She responded by 7:18pm. I responded with two messages, the first of which she read at 7:31pm and the second which she read at 8:30pm. She responded with long messages at 8:46pm, and 9:04pm. I responded with 4 long messages, 2 of which she read at 11:02pm before signing off. Her last messages were that it would be great if we could meet up and go for a hike and/or video chat.

She signed in today for about 30 minutes but didn’t read my last two messages. I’m normally not this anxious over dating issues but this girl is really hot and has a sweet personality. I’m guessing she checked another guy’s messages (or multiple), indicating she has matches she is more interested in. I guess I’m here looking for reassurance or opinions from women who use Match.

A month ago, I got ghosted by another girl [27M] after spending every day of the first month of quarantine together so I guess I’m pretty messed up emotionally and confidence-wise. We started off as friends, it turned into more, and I probably overpursued which pushed her away. I am probably being like Jon Favreau in Swingers. Are my chances over with Match girl? Maybe she has dozens of guys messaging her? Maybe she lost interest? Maybe I’m being needlessly anxious? Growing up, I had many options so I didn’t care much about any 1 particular girl. My main attractive traits are my personality and charm, and slightly above average looks. Perhaps relevant is that I am Asian and only go after white girls in the deep South (averaging 4-6 very pretty girls/year). But yeah, not exactly the most successful guy since I am an introverted nerd. I always relied on organic attraction through school but not many opportunities like that since I have to put in effort now.

I understand that this post is pretty stupid. Limited information and many possibilities but I guess some reassurance would help.
