I [F25] matched with someone [F24] I’ve known tangentially for a couple of years on bumble. Initially we didn’t talk and the match expired and it was whatever, I had really only swiped because I knew her but hadn’t ever thought she was interested in me like that. A few weeks later she rematched with me and we started talking, slowly, every couple of days at first. Now for the last two-three weeks we talk every day on and off all day, the problem is I have no idea where this is going and how to ask without coming off as needy or unhealthily attached.
So far, in the “she likes me” column I have -We talk all day and seem to have a lot of shared interests -When I told her that my first impression of her was that she was cute and I wanted to get to know her she said “I thought the exact same thing, not joking” -She’s said she wants to meet up after quarantine a few times -She paid money to re-match with me -She gives me music and reading recommendations, and a list of her favorite movies -She at least acts like she likes my jokes
BUT, on the other hand -I always have to initiate the conversation, though she does generally reply pretty fast -She never tells me when she’s going to sleep, just stops replying -She doesnt really respond well to most flirting -She seems tired of talking sometimes -I almost always have to ask follow up questions to keep conversation going -We have no concrete plans to meet up after this or even do a skype date
And I’m okay with most of that, or I would be if I knew where we stand. And I feel so immature making this post, but I really like her y’all. I haven’t met someone I can relate to this much in a very very long time and shes totally my type looks wise. I just don’t want to come across as rushed, inappropriately attached, or creepy asking her whats up. And I really don’t want to find out she’s not interested in me and just have to sit with that for the rest of quarantine.
I don’t know, this is really getting to me, any advice is appreciated. Hope y’all are coping w the isolation well <3 <3 <3
