So many people don’t even know what a preference is. A preference means that someone doesn’t have to have that trait, but it would be nice if they do. If all they want is that trait then thats not a preference, its a requirement.

Example 1: A woman says, I prefer men 6’0 and up. She dates men under 6’0, but she likes it when they are 6’0 and up. This is a PREFERENCE

Example 2: A woman says, I want and am only attracted to 6’0 and up guys. I will not be interested in men under 6’0 at all and will not go out with them. This is NOT a preference.

If you don’t know what a preference is please don’t even mention it or give advice about it to other people. It doesn’t take half a brain to realize what actually is a requirement and what is an actual preference.
