I [27f] have been friends with this guy [36m] for quite some time and we have been flirtatious the last few months. Everytime he says something that I find problematic I tried to distance myself from him but he always makes contact with me again. He gets upset when I ask him about his feelings towards me. I ask him if he misses me and his response is usually that he has nothing to say on the topic. And then a week will go by and he will make contact again. I’m constantly there for him emotionally. He gets jealous when I am around other men and doesn’t want me to show any skin.

Yesterday he made a joke that he should set me up with a friend of his. I was upset and said you would want me to date your friend? You don’t have any feelings for me?

He then said he didn’t want to talk about it and then said: we can be friends. If you keep bringing this up Id rather not speak with you.

I haven’t responded. I don’t know if he means like for good or what? should just be done?
