That’s like joining the military then getting mad that you’ll have to do boot camp.

Imo if you look at men who women fawn over in media, it’s simply because their handsome. The examples I give are extreme in terms of how different they are but if you look at Ryan Gosling, I don’t think you seem him acting like Rambo in every film he stars in. I live in Asia, no matter where I go in my area you will find women completely obsessed with K-Pop stars such as BTS, possibly the some of the most feminine looking men in music along with the most feminine mannerisms I’ve seen in men yet this is what women aged 14-25 are obsessed with.
I think it’s funny how a beard is a very masculine look yet the only people I encounter who like having full beards are men because they think its cool, I’ve talked to girls, sent them pictures and they said I’d look better if shaved, even if I barely had a five o’clock shadow I’ve been told I look better clean shaven. Having said all this, you can still attract women being a tough, masculine guy but women could care less how tough you are unless your a Chris Hemsworth type or Channing Tatum, I don’t think being the toughest guy in the room is relevant.
City of Gods, one of my favorite movies of all time shown how this applies to life, Lil Ze is the most ruthless, successful drug dealer in his neighbor and practically runs his whole part of the city along with having a whole gang of grown men and kids to do his dirty work with him and will take your life if you look at him the wrong way, yet when he goes to a party no woman is looking in his direction and doesn’t even have the confidence to have a regular conversation with any women, the only time he was able to get a woman was when he would kidnap them and hold them at gunpoint (i’m not advocating for this btw don’t get it twisted it’s a movie).
I feel like guys who are naive about girls think that if they act like the toughest, most confident guy in the room that’s whats going to get them what they want, if a woman likes you she will like you regardless, my ex liked me just because and it had nothing to do with being intimidating to anyone, I didn’t display any signs of confidence or being a tough guy I just existed and acted like myself.
