22m, I’ve never been on a date or done anything romantic besides flirting with friends and co-workers which is fun. It’s a very long and confusing story on why I’ve never dated before or done anything romantic but that’s how it is.

For a while I really was trying to get a gf but didn’t know how so I got really into self improvement which helped me improve my life in general. Still no gf, but I’ve come to accept that, and to be quite honest I don’t exactly care either. I’m perfectly happy being single, despite one day dreaming of becoming a father and grandfather, I realize that being single offers me lots of freedom to do whatever I want without having to care about some girl’s desires. I also don’t have to deal with the chore of texting someone every single day.

I’m still curious about what a relationship is like though. I’d love to get into one just to see what it’s like and to see what sex is like, although as I age my libido drops too so I don’t particularly care about sex as much anymore although I still have something of a sex drive left.

Any advice? I was gonna try putting myself out there and asking out lots of girls in different places this year, but then the virus hit lol. Not a fearful person, but I think it’s really stupid to put yourself in public more than you really have to these days so I’ll probably wait till next year to try meeting someone. I’ve already tried online dating in the past, and I will never do it again. Too many people are super picky and simply ignore you on there and it just makes you feel like shit. I’m not shy at all so meeting people in person shouldn’t be an issue if I approach people. I also got a lot of different hobbies so finding groups for those shouldn’t be an issue either.

Don’t really know why I’m posting this tbh. Guess I’m just looking for advice/information, despite having heard it all from various self improvement avenues and friends.
