So I matched with this guy on Hinge a while ago (like back in August). We followed each other on Insta but never hung out. We messaged each other brief stuff but nothing serious. This last week or so, he’s been replying to my stories, and over the last month we’ve been in consistent conversation and flirting over text. He’s mentioned us writing music together and doing things together once COVID is over, but I feel like I’m stuck in a texting trap! He hasn’t called me and I’d like for him to- I just don’t want things to become awkward because we’ve yet to connect in real life really since we’ve started texting. We both work at the same hospital- he works in the pharmacy part time and I work as a social worker. A lot of this started by saying “hi” in the hallways- but now when he’s working he’s quieter over texting like he’s nervous to see me or something.

Any advice on how to move things forward? I want him to take the lead, so I’m not sure how to hint about a phone call or actually seeing each other at work again.
