I (21M) have been talking to this girl (19F) and the other night, while video chatting with her for 8 hours, I told her how I felt about her and she said she wasn’t really looking for a relationship right now. Initially I took that as game over, fine. But since that night she’s done a bunch of stuff that doesn’t seem to match her words. She posted to her Snapchat story that she stayed up late to video chat for 8 hours (she rarely posts to her story). She then messaged me first the very next day. Then she planned an ice cream date for us, which ended up being a really fun day where we sat in the park and talked for 5 hours. And she seemed to be having a good time and was interested. Why do her actions seem to contradict her words?

Edit: A few other things: we go to colleges that are 4 hours away from each other but both home for quarantine. I have also noticed an increase in her teasing me playfully since that video chat night.
