I’ve been told by loads of friends (of both sexes) that I’m cute/handsome/good looking etc – a few friends suggested that I’d do well on Tinder. I made my account yesterday(around 18 hrs ago) and so far I’ve gotten 8 likes but zero matches.
However, I also found myself swiping left on more people than I expected – idk how to phrase this – I’m not very picky, especially compared to my friends and still I found myself swiping left a lot.
This leads me to the question – are people’s standards on Tinder or dating apps higher than in real life? I have also always thought that most people look better in person rather than in a photo.
If it matters, I am a guy.
I’m interested to know what you guys think!
