So, I’ve never really been the shy type and never had problems with my confidence in most fields, but I never really had confidence, when it came to woman due to not being the most attractive guy, so to say.

Due to that condition I always thought, that if I showed interest in a girl or even asked her out, this would make her uncomfortable and could be considered weird/creepy by the people around. I am a good conversationalist and therefore what and when to say something, isn’t why I fear, that it could come off as creepy/weird. For me it’s the overall situation, I wouldn’t even have a problem with a rejection, but I always fear, that people will think I am weird for trying or that she will feel uncomfortable in this situation.

Has anyone had similar thoughts or a strategy to overcome them?
