I’m trying to ask someone to hang out, who I havent seen for a few months because things got weird in our situationship and we stopped talking until recently.

I generally just say what I think and dont care too much, BUT this guy has clearly shown he responds well to pretty much being ignored (he’ll chase/text) and less well to lots of enthusiastic interest (ugh)

I just want to give it one more shot, but I don’t want to chase/seem desperate (I’m not).

One common interest we have is weed lol so I’m thinking about texting him on Friday to ask if he wants to smoke.

(We both work essential services jobs, so isolating fully is not a reality for either of us, and its been months, so yes, I’m a little thirsty, dont judge me).

Is there anyway to ask that wont make me look like an ass? I do generally wait for the guy to ask, but I dont know that he ever will at this point. I stopped replying to his msgs for a long time until he recently reached back out…

I hate the thought of suggesting solid plans and being rejected, and also, of leading with too much masculine energy.
