Hi, so I met this guy through a friend of mine. We always hang out in a group of 5/6 people and I interact with everyone, but this guy apparently has a big crush on me (he told his friend, who told my friend, who told me). I have no attraction whatsoever towards him, but he is a funny guy so I kind of enjoy spending time around him purely as friends. I have never led him on or made him believe that our friendship could turn into something else. He keeps texting and being flirty and sending me good morning messages, and I stopped responding yesterday.

Here is where it gets ridiculous: since I didn’t reply to his good morning text, he called his friend saying that he was desperate and wanted to kill himself because I did not answer. He also told his friend not to go to his house that night, because another girl was coming over and he was hoping to be alone with her.

Is it just me or is this just another level of crazy?? I really don’t want to be mean to him but I don’t know how to react.
