Dating to find a long term relationship is literally the most impossible thing nowadays i feel.

Approaching strangers on the street? Creepy and awkward

Dating apps? Easily ghosted and infested with either people seeking attention (here is my instagram now follow it please) or people looking for hookups.

“Just get some hobbies and join a club lol” – I do have hobbies(DOTA 2, crochet, to name a few) but approaching someone like that just because you have the same hobby is the same thing as approaching a stranger to try and start a relationship.

Just go outside and meet people at a bar or club – I don’t do those as they don’t interest me and even if I did what’s the point I wouldn’t want someone who enjoys a different regular activity than me.

So yea, for me dating and even the basics of making friends is literally impossible for me due to my social anxiety and trust issues so if anyone has advice on how to overcome this hurdle please tell me.
