Does anyone else "look good on paper" as a partner but feel like you have tons of qualities that make you hard to love/ undesirable?

Seaking from personal experience obviously – I’m a 23M Mechanical Engineer, dress/groom well, polite, respectful, etc. I have a large circle of friends whom I love dearly, decently popular, and generally have no issues getting first or second or third dates when I pursue romantically. But the problem is that on paper I’m a good candidate to date, but there are things about my fundamental personality that contribute to every failed relationship I’ve had no matter how hard I try. Example: I’m definitely more of the reserved type, so I’m not one to just hand out compliments or shower someone with attention or post on Instagram/Facebook etc. I just feel like that genuinely removes any value I can provide to a relationship (even though that’s objectively false) and turns girls I date for longer periods of time away.

What’s y’alls take on being a good partner “on paper” only?
