The title may be a little bit confusing but I’ll clarify it:

So I have an (ex) best friend, I’ll call her C, and she has an ex, let’s call him A. We were all classmates in high school (so we’re all 21 yo now).

Actually, C is not yet an ex best friend, I call her that because we don’t keep in contact anymore, we don’t meet (before the lockdown, I mean), we don’t text or call each other. It’s very complicated, we’ve always had a difficult relationship, we were more like frenemies. The thing is, it’s not like we had a fight, we didn’t break our friendship… yet?

When A started texting me, he was already C’s ex. My best friend really broke his heart, she dumped him and the next day she was already meeting someone new (and they’re still happily together). He really helped me through difficult times, as I was also going through a break up. He’s kind and caring and we also have things in common, same interests, etc.

I like him, but he’s my friend’s ex. Even though she’s in another happy relationship, is it right for me to date him? What do you guys think, did this ever happen to you?
