I’ve been in any out of OLD for pretty much a decade (mid-20s to mid-30s) and the only relationship I’ve had in that time was NOT through OLD (and sadly it didn’t work out but I learned a lot and it definitely doesn’t feel like lost or wasted time). I’ve had numerous first dates that go nowhere, I’ve had countless matches ghost me, and I’ve had a few 1-2 month periods of “seeing” someone only to find out they weren’t actually ready for a relationship or they just weren’t interested.
