Hi all, went out with this girl Friday. We painted together and hung out, kissed etc. Met up on Sat for a socially distanced art thing. We were both under the influence and the convos got a bit awkward but nothing bad. She didn’t seem to want to kiss much that night but we made plans to hang this Thurs/Fri. I mentioned hanging at her studio again but she said she needed some space there so I let it go. End of night, she texts me that I left my bag with her and jokingly goes “nice move 🙂 “. I laughed and said I wasn’t worried about it. Sunday she asked if I wanted to pick up my bag. I said I’d let her know, but got caught up with a friend and said let’s leave it til next time we hang (giving her some space).

We’ve texted a bit since, but I feel very awkward and anxious, like there’s a weird energy going on. I’m not sure what to make of it. It’s a bit hard to read her, but I can also be pretty dense. I’m trying to relax and just go with it, but I feel that annoying anxiety about it- relief when she texts back, unsure how to keep the convo going etc. Trying to just chill out. But wondering if this level of anxiety may be a sign it’s not vibing?
