I have gone on dates with a few women in my life. I went through some rejection and some we just didn’t click, it sucks but that happens. But some women I went on dates with played so many games with me and made me their back up guy. The guy they wanted to follow around and give them attention whenever they wanted but didnt want more while they dated other guys. They would get jealous or upset if I stopped giving them attention and just talked to women. Mind you they would have rejected me by that point or they would end things and come back to me or just make excuses about missing dates or just not rejecting me but not giving me a solid answer to a date to keep their option open I guess.

They would be the ones to reach out to me though, I wasnt texting them or reaching out to them. They would do all of that. If a woman rejects me or leaves me then ok I am moving on and leaving you alone. If they reached out I wouldnt know what to do or what it meant so I kept talking to them but they would just play games to keep me around.

At this point I am a 25 year old single guy and havent been in a relationship or beyond making out with women. These women all ended up with other guys after I would finally realize they were playing games and just cut contact and blocked them. My friends would tell me or I would just see them together or I would learn about it before blocking them.

So what I want to ask is how do I become good enough for those type of women? The ones who actually treated me badly I never want to see again but how do I become the kind of guy those women wanted? Or the guy any women wants?

My friends all think my only issues are my not so great self esteem and that the women I have met were not the best so I have the worst luck. But I mean there has to be a real reason why I wasn’t good enough for them and just a guy they had as a back up option right? How do I get to be the kind of guy those women wanted?
