Obviously there is no one-size-fits-all model and (as is the case when people are involved) circumstance plays a significant role. I’ve never had a relationship through offline dating and always relied on apps. DISCLAIMER: there is absolutely no shame in this and I have seen some wonderful relationships that flourished through apps.

However, everytime I got broken up with, the guys always told me that the online component had an influencing factor in that it made them date unnaturally and “rushed” them. They even implied that maybe they wouldn’t have even gone as far as to get into a relationship with me if we had met offline.

So I’ve been curious as to how a relationship forms offline. How does mutual attraction occur? Has anybody ever found someone attractive after the latter made it clear they liked you? How do you grab chances?
