My only contact with her is Instagram, I want to know how I should go about sliding into those dm’s. Here’s what I’m playing with so far: Wait for her to post something on her story that I can respond to, so we can start talking based on common intere…

I’ve had okay luck with women in the past, never been in a real relationship, but a lot of old flames that never ended up turning into anything more. I told myself it would happen one day, but truth be told, one day never really came.
I’m 5’11”, 150lbs (mostly muscle, a bit of body fat though), and have been told by most people that I’m a really good looking dude. Without bragging too much, I have reason enough to believe that. The women I have been involved with have all been what many would consider above average, and on occasion, I’ll notice a few girls (some of whom were really cute) getting kinda shy around me when we first meet (not often at all, but it’s a hard thing not to notice when it happens). I’m no stud when it comes to body, I have pretty skinny arms and not much of a chest to speak of (just decently defined pecks) but I’m focusing more on muscle building workouts and diet in quarantine, so I may emerge looking a little better. So far I’m not going crazy though so I promise you I won’t be some Hercules looking 10/10.
From what I can gather, my biggest problem in the past has been being too shy and taking things too slow. My friends have roasted me about it on more than a few occasions, I often take dating too seriously and in the past I’ve refused to go up and talk to a girl unless I find a “connection.” I’m trying to move past that and just meet new people. I’ve been insecure about being skinny in the past (more when I was 130lbs a few years ago, but still) and I have to wonder how much of a turn off that is for women. Should I focus more on bulking up to be a more attractive weight, or is my main issue confidence? Thanks!
