I (M35) recently finished with someone (F28) I had met online whilst working in Saudi who I’d been dating for 6 months. We ended it due to her leaving, and as I have another year left in my job here we decided to part ways. The issue I’m having at the moment is that when I do return back home, I’ll be looking for a relationship but the fact is I will then be 36 and I’m worried that this will be a red flag for women. I guess what I’m asking is, do women see this as a barrier for a relationship? I accepted the fact that working in the Middle East would mean I would have to put my life on hold for 4 years (dating out here is difficult at best) but after finishing this recent relationship, it’s started making me concerned for how things will end up back home, to the point where I’m starting to loose sleep. Any advice is much appreciated.
