Hi all,
I was recently dumped by a girl that I had been seeing for two months (short time, I know). I thought everything was going well until she decided to dump me citing a lack of sexual chemistry among a few other things. Those two other things were that I didn’t want to cuddle with her after she came to my place not feeling well and the other being that I apparently didn’t kiss her hello and goodbye (something I think is BS).
I am not really sure how to process this. Is this something normal? I am very inexperienced with both relationships and sex in general and I was very upfront about that, while she was the opposite. She told me that she broke up with her last boyfriend b/c of the same reason and it made me feel a lot of pressure during sex. My biggest issue with this situation is that the solution is also the problem in and of itself.
Is this how most relationships are going to turn out? This situation has made me extremely anxious and any advice I could get on what to do going forward to try to avoid this would be fantastic.
Secondly, how do I go about dealing with her going forward. She was very clear that she is very, very interested in remaining friends. I told her I was going to take my time, think about it and said my goodbyes, to which she never responded. IF I decide to be friends with her what should that look like, what types of restrictions do we put down (i.e. no sex, no talk about new SO, etc.), and is it even worth it?
I apologize if this seems silly for such a short relationship, but given my lack of experience I don’t have much to go off of and would like to learn as much as I can from this situation. Thanks in advance!
TL;DR Dumped by girl b/c of lack of sexual chemistry when she knew I wasn’t really sexually experienced and looking for some advice going forward
