Whether it’s in a bar, or a party, women will flirt about how much they “LLOOVVVVEEE” back guys, and make sexual induendos about “Is it true what they say?” While it may be true that black men have a larger average, I’m smaller than the usual average in length, but ESPECIALLY girth!
Since this BBC expectation is so prevalent on TV (shows like Girls and Sex and the City) and entertainment in general, I get the feeling that women expect it. Like seriously, it’s crazy how saturated this idea is out there amongst people. And my heart sinks everytime I hear this.
So I’m always left speechless when someone tries to compliment me as a black man based on this. And I don’t know how to proceed. When and how should let them know that I’m not a part of the BBC club? That I’m that rare small black guy.
For the sake of transparency the human average is 5.1″ length x 4.6″ girth. I guess the black average is larger than that. I’m at 4.7″ length, but very thin as well at 4.2″. So when it’s said that “girth is WAY more important” my heart sinks.
