So I (21M) started talking to this girl(20F) at my university last semester. It started off slow but we started talking more as the semester continued and became somewhat flirty while not being explicit (we’re both kinda shy). We’ve both complemented each other and whenever we see each other in person, we talk for a really long time about random things. We just vibe really well and I know she’s talked to friends about me. Since quarantine has started and we were sent home, we started talking more through DMs and text. We’ve also facetimed a couple of times (a few hrs each time), and actually started watching a show she recommended together. We’ve also expressed that we both want to hang out when we go back to school and even threw some ideas for potential dates out. Through these texts i think i’ve made my intentions pretty clear.
Overall, I think she’s receptive and likes my advances. The only issue I have is that she almost never initiates. Is it a bad sign that I am mostly the one who initiates, and how can I potentially fix it? She isn’t the kind of person who is always on her phone, so that could also be the reason. I’ve only been in one relationship before (where we were constantly in contact), so my perspective might be skewed and I would totally appreciate some advice. Thanks!
