I’m a regular 22M asian american, and throughout high school and college I’ve noticed that asian men have it harder when it comes to dating in the USA. Studies have shown that asian men rank at the bottom of the attractiveness scale when it comes to races. Asian women are seen as desirable, a lot of asian girls would rather date a white male than an asian male. We have several stereotypes against us: unmasculine, small dick, weak, etc. Studies have shown that we even have to make more money than other races to have chances with the same girls. Several of my white friends tell me they’ve gone out/hooked up with so many girls and don’t have trouble when it comes to dating.
I’ve had several girls tell me that they “aren’t interested in asian guys”. Many of them have told me either they don’t find me it’s cause they don’t find them attractive. It’s really demoralizing to hear that time and time again. I didn’t ask to be born this way, it’s just the set of cards I was dealt. But my experiences have caused me to be very insecure. To make matters worse, a lot of us were brought up on the strict “tiger parenting” lifestyle that prioritized grades first and no relationships.
Would any women here date an asian guy? Does anyone have tips on how to get dates as an asian american in the US?
