So a little backstory. I reconnected with a girl from high school over facebook and we both admitted to having crushes on each other in high school. We talked many nights over the phone and she invited me to come spend the night at her house. So I do but the problem begins with my having been a virgin and having lied about it. Made it sound like I had been with a few girls. We ended up in bed and started having sex but my nerves got to me and I lost my erection. Things weren’t great between us after that and she pulled away only wanting to text and always saying she was busy when I asked to hang out. Well, eventually I told her the truth and she has somewhat warmed back up and we may go to the drive ins this weekend. One of the reasons she backed off is because she thought I wasn’t attracted to her and I explained I was embarrassed about being a virgin and made up a stupid story. Basically, I genuinely feel bad about causing confusion and hurting her self esteem. When we go to the movies I have thought about maybe giving her some small gift like a rose and really apologizing for it and explaining I want to make up for it even though she already said it was ok. Is this a good idea or might she think I am trying too hard? Do girls even on normal occasions like getting flowers or is it seen as corny?
