Trying to parse how much of my concern here is due to insecurity and how much is due to a legitimate concern. I (30/m) recently started dating someone I met online (31/f). We have been together for 4 months now.

Everything feels like it is going very well, but when discussing our dating history, it seems like she has dated around 5-6 guys since she was in undergrad (where she dated someone for a few years), and every “relationship” seems to have been from 3 to 10 months. The reasons for breaking up with these men seem legitimate, but I still feel uneasy about this. It also seems like she is usually the one to end things. She openly admitted she was immature about dating and ended up seeing a lot of people that weren’t good for her earlier on, but that dating has improved for her lately as she has gotten older.

She has said a few things to me to make me feel like things are different this time around, but just because she is saying that now doesn’t mean she will still think that in 5 months.

She has had more partners than me, but that doesn’t really concern me at all. I’m really starting to catch feelings for this person, but I am worried I am going to get hurt. Thoughts?
