I am a 41 Female dating a 40 Male for 6 months. He has 2 kids and is been divorced for 1.5 years. He was with her for 10 years. He says he doesn’t want something serious because of his kids an is not sure when/if he wants to introduce me to them (and his ex-wife will get pissed). We really like each other but I’m scared that I may be wasting my time.
Do you think I should tell him I want to date other people until he figures it out?

I’m a 41F and we have been dating for 5 months, taking several small trips together and hang out once or twice a week depending on when he has his kids (age 5-7). I want a relationship but he wants to go slow, meaning we are not in a serious relationship yet. I asked him “is there a possibility for this to turn into something more and he said Yes.
How soon should I wait for him to commit to a serious relationship?
Facts: he was married for 9 years and she initiated the divorce. Divorced in late 2018 and he has been dating pretty regularly since his divorce but I’m the longest woman he’s been with since the divorce. I haven’t met his kids yet or family/family but he told his parents about me. (He doesn’t have many friends.)
