Look, I get how different people cope differently. Everybody has different ways of getting over somebody.

But what I’m talking about is people who: A. Keep hoping to get back with their ex but are here just in the meanwhile and will string you along and act like they actually wanna date you but then boom! They get back with their ex and you’re left WTFing. B. Keep cribbing about their ex during most of the conversation and are clearly not over them and will talk incessantly about them

I understand that these are both valid emotions, break ups are hard but it really is unfair for the person you’re talking to. It’s not exactly cool to string people along while you’re still going back and forth about getting back with your ex. Other people are people, not your back up.

This obviously doesn’t include those who are just looking for a hookup. If you’re just looking for mindless sex, who cares if you’ll get back with your ex, you’re just a one night stand. This is directed at those who are using the apps to date somebody (either casually or seriously).
