I have a lot of interests in very different kinds of fields (both logical/mathematical and artistical). I personally really enjoy having such a vast span of interests and I would find it attractive in somebody else. Unfortunately most girls don’t seem to agree with that at all. I’ve never received any female attention in my life and even when I actively show interest in someone, it ends with something like “I think you’re a really nice guy, but I don’t think we can be more than friends”.

For the past 1-2 years I have constantly tried to improve myself by working out, studying, trying to make friends, etc. All the stuff that you’re supposed to do “and then the girls will come”. Well, they don’t. I even tried online dating with no success. It’s really making me lose hope – should I give up on it entirely? Btw, I’m 20 years old, since I haven’t mentioned it.
