I recently got back on a few of the dating sites since on Tinder… you know the drill. Random 20-somethings who want to hook up and don’t really know what they want.
I’m 29, financially stable, have a good job (don’t have a car yet but working on it)… Really, I’m just looking to start a conversation with another woman around my age and see where it leads.
The issue is I think that many of the women on these dating sites are extremely jaded because they probably get bombarded with a bunch of messages these days, just like with Tinder… I tried to be more descriptive with my profile recently, but some of the profiles I see literally have nothing but a picture.
I know beneath the facade there’s just a real lonely person out there waiting to connect with someone…. But I don’t really get how to do a good opening message that’s not too generic but can also get the potential lady friend’s suggestion.
Advice?
