Hello, I am a fairly introverted 33 year old man. I have dated a few women, but always someone I already knew or met via a dating app. On one of these apps, I got into a conversation about approaching strange women in public, striking up a conversation, and then asking them out. The woman said that she wishes men did this more. I was surprised because I thought women generally wanted to be left alone to enjoy their day and what they are doing without a man interrupting them or asking them out. I know everyone is different, but am hoping to get an honest, general perspective on this.
Edit: to clarify, because I’ve always believed this… in my adult life, I’ve literally never approached a stranger, sparked up a conversation, and asked them out. I’ve only dated women I’ve known or met on apps. I didn’t want to bother anyone. I’m feeling fairly stupid, right now.
