My best friend gets almost any girl he would want. Whenever the topic of girls comes up I kind of become sad and nod and smile to whatever he flaunts about. He says that he got this girl on insta, chatted for a while and exchanged numbers, got pictures and everything. Also, I saw that a lot of girls slide into his dms first without him making any effort. I feel an inferiority complex in this topic because I am not that successful with girls. I have to dm girls first, make all the effort, chat and get ghosted in the end. Whereas, girls give their numbers to him, send follow requests, slide into dms. I cannot even ask for a suggestion from him because it would make him feel like he is a god or some stupid stud. We are both 18, and soon to get admission in college. I am thinking of staying away from him because whenever I look at him, I get depressed and think I have done nothing. Can anyone help?
