I recently went to the doctor for a well visit and was told to by the doc to eat a few extra snacks.
I’m 18F and weigh 104 pounds I’m only 5 2” to me this is a totally normal weight/size. I told my boyfriend what the doctor had told me and now whenever it comes to food he always tells me to eat more and says “Doc knows best” My parents had no concern to what the doctor had said whatsoever and had actually told me to go to the gym a week before my appointment.
For reference my mother is 50 and pretty much wears the same size clothes as me Sometimes when she sees me eating junk food (which is rare I typically eat very healthy) she says “it’s gonna go straight to your hips”
It kind of bothers me that my boyfriend is telling me to eat more, is he telling me this because he’s unhappy with the way I look? I don’t think I’m grossly skinny but does he? Is he trying to make me gain weight so other guys don’t find me attractive (sounds crazy but I’ve heard of this before) I guess I just wanted an outsiders take on the situation
Thank you for reading
TLDR;doctor told me to gain weight and boyfriend is pushing me to but my parents say the opposite and I believe I look fine
