I (24M) am realizing that I’m attracted to a certain type of high-energy, career-focused woman, but I have very little success asking them out. I make a decent living myself, pay all my own bills, etc. but I only work 40-45 hours a week, and while I have an active social life, personally I’m not a super energetic or outgoing guy. I feel like a scrub every time someone turns me down. Are career-focused women at my age less interested in relationships than men are, or do they have really high standards for men and I don’t measure up?
