“Choose people who choose you.”

I have a habit of going after men I can not have and it sucks. Chasing sucks. Trying to prove your worth to someone sucks. Wanting someone who doesn’t want you back sucks. Loving someone who does not love you back sucks. Losing sleep over someone who doesn’t care about you sucks. Valuing someone who doesn’t value you sucks. Feeling unwanted and unloved sucks. So let us be intentional about choosing people who choose us.
